WomHub is excited to launch the opening of its Female Funding Fit Programme 2025, an elite investment readiness accelerator for technology-driven female-led startups in South Africa. Supported by the French Embassy in South Africa, the 6-month program is intended to equip female founders with the necessary tools, training, and strategic networking opportunities to fill gaps in growth.
What You'll Receive
Catalytic Funding: A selected founder will receive €10,000 in funding.
Mentorship & Coaching: One-on-one mentorship and money coaching.
Personal Development: Personal mastery analysis and build-out.
Access to Resources: Access to WomHub spaces.
Who Can Apply?
Female, technology-enabled businesses.
The company must be registered in South Africa.
Deadline: August 21, 2025.
ACT Foundation Changemakers Innovation Challenge 2025
Grant Funding and Mentorship for African Young Innovators
The ACT Foundation is accepting applications for the Changemakers Innovation Challenge 2025, an annual competition for African youth innovators who are creating social change by leveraging technology. The challenge recognizes and also finances community not-for-profits, social enterprises, and youth-led organizations that are leveraging digital spaces and emerging technologies to address key social issues. Grant funding will be given to the top four winners to scale their innovations.
What You'll Receive
Grant Funding: Funds to scale up innovative solutions to African communities.
Technical Support: Access to software, hardware, or capacity-building training that's specific to your project.
Visibility: Exposure to a network of partners and stakeholders to assist in amplifying your impact.
Who is Eligible to Apply?
Innovators who are residents and citizens of any nation in Africa.
The project should be youth-led, with team leads or founders aged 18–25 years.
Your solution must be technology-driven or demonstrate a strong integration of digital solutions.
The project must be solving issues in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and have made tangible impacts.
Deadline: August 22, 2025.
Global Young Academy Invites 2025 Membership Applications
Top Talent Seeks Early-Career Scientists to Meet the World's Challenges
The Global Young Academy (GYA), a global network of distinguished young scientists who aim for science development for world benefit, has now officially launched the call for applications for its 2025 membership cohort. The call is extended to early-career scientists, researchers, and scholars from everywhere in the world willing to contribute to the design of the future of world science and society.
What You'll Receive
Collaboration: A unique platform to collaborate with a community of 200 young scientists worldwide.
Leadership: Opportunity to lead and contribute towards projects in the areas of science policy, education, and social contributions.

NBA Africa Launches Triple-Double Accelerator Program 2025 for African Startups
Cash Grants of Up to $50,000 and Mentorship for Startup Founders in Sport and Creative Sectors
NBA Africa has announced the opening of applications for its Triple-Double Accelerator Program 2025, which will accelerate early-stage African startups operating in the sports and creative sectors. Under the program, the successful founders will gain access to an intensive, AI-first capacity-building curriculum, mentorship from across the globe, world-class coaching, and exposure to an investors and partners network.
The overall theme of the program is to boost ventures led by ambitious entrepreneurs that have tech-enabled solutions with a definitive market value and a proof-of-concept prototype that has been proven. The accelerator is a key element of NBA Africa's approach to fostering innovation and economic growth across the continent.
What Startups Will Receive
Cash Prize: The five successful startups will receive up to $50,000 in cash and value-in-kind perks.
Mentorship: A 10-week mentorship program with support from leaders at NBA Africa, ServiceNow, and ALX.
Business Development: Access to business coaching, brand visibility, masterclasses on AI and fundraising, and a customized roadmap for growth.
Networking: Chances to meet global industry leaders, investors, and a robust community of peers.
Who Can Apply?
Startups should be based in Africa.
The business should be under two years old.
Must have a tech-enabled solution with a clear market value and a working prototype.
Must have at least two full-time co-founders.
Deadline: August 29, 2025.
Sustainable Innovation Seed Accelerator Program 2025
Program for African Startups in Green Industries
Applications are currently open for the Sustainable Innovation Seed Accelerator Program 2025, an 8-week seed-stage startup program for tech-enabled solution-building in Africa. It is part of the UNDP's "timbuktoo" initiative, and it's aimed at founders who are operating in agriculture, mobility, the built environment, and energy.
What Startups Will Get
Expert Mentorship: One-on-one mentoring by sustainability and growth experts who are startup founders in the emerging markets.
Training: The program helps startups sharpen their commercial strategy and technical skills.
Networking: Participants will build connections with local ecosystem players, including government bodies, businesses, and venture capital entities.
Program Structure: An 8-week program with 4 weeks of in-person classes in Nairobi and 4 weeks of blended learning.
Who Can Apply?
Seed-stage entrepreneurs creating technology or tech-enabled solutions in Africa for the African market.
Startups must be mission-driven if they are to have a lasting impact.
Founders will need to plan on attending the in-person sessions in Nairobi.

Scale2Miami & Mana Tech Accelerator 2025
Funding of up to $300,000 for Startups Planning to Enter the U.S. Market
The Scale2Miami & Mana Tech Accelerator 2025 is an opportunity for international startups with a validated Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to step into the U.S. market. The program aims to fill the gap for foreign founders seeking their first critical U.S. investment by providing strategic capital, mentorship, and a powerful network in Miami's emerging tech ecosystem.
What You'll Get
Funding: $300,000 in a SAFE investment, with up to $270k cash and $30k in-kind support.
Accelerator Support: 4 weeks of online immersion followed by one week of workshops, networking, and a Demo Day in Miami for the top 10 startups.
Incubation: The portfolio startups selected have 12 months of incubation support in order to enable them to build their strategy, work on their U.S. MVP, and gain traction.
Networking: Access to a high-value network of founders, investors and mentors in Miami.
Who Can Apply?
Global startups with an MVP already validated in their home market.
The company must have a scalable model that can scale super fast in the U.S.
The founding team must have a CEO ready to relocate to Miami to spearhead the U.S. growth.
Deadline: August 31, 2025.
NTEN Opens Fully-Funded Cybersecurity Program for Nonprofits
Three-Month Cohort to Strengthen Digital Defences and Staff Confidence
The Nonprofit Technology Network (NTEN) is now accepting applications for its fully-funded Nonprofit Cybersecurity Readiness Program 2025. The three-month learning cohort aims to significantly enhance the operational security of nonprofits while fostering cybersecurity leadership, management, and confidence among nonprofit staff.
The programme will work with 20 organisations per cohort, offering a combination of peer networking, professional development, and personalised assistance. Participants will receive a security audit and a straightforward, actionable plan to help safeguard their organisation from increasing digital threats.
What Participants Will Gain
Custom Curriculum: Structured, three-month learning through the NTEN Training Centre, developed specifically for the nonprofit sector.
Custom Security Plan: Personalized assistance to develop a concise, actionable security plan for your organization.
Expert Advisors: Access to expert advisors and peer networking.
Fully-Funded: The program is fully funded by partners and is free to participants.
Deadline: August 26, 2025.
